Now you’ve met Lewis and Carl, who will be working in Poringland and Thetford as our ‘Musicians in Residence’ for Move/Shake, a Youth Music-funded programme building on our 10+ years of experience delivering and developing youth leadership activities in rural communities.

Say a warm welcome to another ‘Musician in Residence’ – Saffron Summerfield!

Saffron is a Singer, Songwriter and Sound Artist who will be working in Lowestoft and the surrounding area.

When asked, how would you describe your artistic practice, Saffron said…

“I write songs with guitar and keyboards/synth for records and videos. I work with rural communities to create soundscapes on a variety of subjects using voices, nature and found sounds. I run words and music, voice and song-writing workshops for all ages.”
