In February 2021, a group of 51 cultural employers from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, led by Creative Arts East and known as the Kickstart East Anglia consortium, was approved to host placements ranging from Communications and Retail Assistants to Dance Artists and Animators. Over the past 12 months, Kickstart East Anglia employers have supported over 60+ placements, with many young people moving into longer-term work or education opportunities as a result.
The time for referrals is now closed! The Kickstart Scheme is a government fund, creating hundreds of thousands of high quality 6-month work placements, aimed at those agedÂ 16-24Â who are onÂ Universal Credit.
