We pride ourselves on having worked with some outstanding professional artists and performance companies, that have helped us bring high-quality arts to rural communities in many different guises.
Becoming an associate artist with Creative Arts East is a hugely rewarding experience. Many of our performers tell us how exciting rural touring can be, and how much they get out of working with us in a community outreach capacity.
These are some of the ways we work with artists:
Our live performance scheme enables professional artists to tour their work to community venues around the East. We put together a menu of diverse, high-quality work, and our promoters choose which shows they want to host. Take a look at our Performers Info here before applying, or click here for more information about the scheme.
If you’ve never worked with us before as an artist or touring company, click below to submit your company and show information. This will also set you up with an artist profile. Ready to apply?
If you already have an artist profile, click here to log in and edit your details or add a new show.
We work with artists to deliver workshops across Norfolk that help older people (including carers, those living with a dementia and other health conditions) engage and participate in music and dance activities. Every three months we work with different artists who deliver the sessions with a different focus and artform. For more information about Our Day Out, click here. To chat to us about facilitating some sessions, please make a general enquiry and ask about the Our Day Out project.
We work with local high schools to deliver our Young Event Managers programme, which gives young people the training and guidance to put on their own live music event. We programme a selection of professional musicians and bands for our groups to choose from. For more information about this programme, click here. To chat to us about working on this project, please make a general enquiry and ask about the Young Promoters scheme.
