We’re excited to share that we’ve been selected to take part in The Big Give’s Arts For Impact campaign this March!

This means that every donation made to our campaign from 19th-26th March will be DOUBLED!

Norfolk has one of the oldest populations in the country. These people are most at risk of ill health and isolation.

“With 1.1 million people predicted to be living with dementia in the UK by 2030, and 1 in 3 older people feeling lonelier in the wake of COVID-19, there has never been a greater need for preventative and responsive arts for health programmes like those Creative Arts East offer – particularly those proven to work.”

– Dr Hannah Zeilig, UAL.

We want to maintain our programme of creative activities for older people in under-served areas of Norfolk, particularly those with aging populations, high rates of dementia diagnosis, and low levels of infrastructure or wealth.

Evidenced through external evaluation over the past 10 years, we know that 87% of our beneficiaries experience increased wellbeing. 94% increase their social connections. This makes a fundamental difference to the quality of people’s lives.

We’re aiming to raise £2500 which The Big Give can then double to £5000 to support the continuation of 12 creative sessions.
