Thibaut is an internationally renowned conductor who travels the world. When he discover's he has leukemia and needs a bone marrow donor, he learns he was adopted, and finds he has a brother, Jimmy, who works in a school cafeteria and plays the trombone in a small marching band.


When the band loses its conductor, Thibaut steps in as replacement, and the brothers learn more about the circumstances that shaped each other's lives, their reunion sparking a fraternal, musical journey amidst the town's factory closure.
