FREE Online TeachMeet: Creativity at home

Description

Description

Free Online TeachMeet: Creativity at home. Creative Arts East and Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning are inviting primary teachers and arts educators in East Anglia to join us for an interactive session to share ideas for home learning activities which support primary age children to develop creative skills from home. Be a part of the conversation, share your own experiences, and hear from fellow educators and artists. This free online event will include fun and informal presentations, an opportunity to connect with other teachers and cultural practitioners, and two mini workshop sessions to get you inspired, delivered by poet, Lewis Buxton, and artist and animator, John Harmer. Content will largely focus on approaches suitable for years 3 – 6, but participation is open to any primary educator wishing to share and develop creative practise. Once you've booked a ticket, you'll be sent instructions by email on how to join the Zoom call in the week of the event. We still have some slots available for presentations so do let us know if you’d like to register to present at the event. We’re looking for short, informal presentations that are three or seven minutes long and which are linked to the creation and delivery of remote creative learning activities for primary students. Think short, snappy and interactive starters which celebrate your practice! If you’d like to present, please email: sophie@creativeartseast.co.uk This event is supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning and Creative Arts East on behalf of PEACH West Norfolk, a local cultural education partnership. Find out more about LECP's here
