CALLING ALL REPRESENTATIVES OF RURAL COMMUNITIES ACROSS NORFOLK, SUFFOLK AND CAMBRIDGESHIRE!

Are you highly involved in your local community, or would like to be?

Do you run a community space, such as a village hall, community centre or playing field?

Think your community could benefit from exciting, high-quality theatre and cinema events?

If so, then come along to our Community Arts Events - Organisers Meet-Up in Ely

Here at Creative Arts East, we have been helping volunteers across the Eastern region to host entertaining, enjoyable, and awe-inspiring arts and cultural events in and for rural communities for over 20 years. We run two flagship membership schemes, Live! and Screen, and these provide programming ideas, financial subsidy, marketing and moral support to enable these volunteer groups to put on live performances and cinema screenings that bring the whole community together.

Come along to the Meet-Up on either Friday 20th May (in Norwich) OR Thursday 26th May (in Ely) to find out how we can help you get started.

    The sessions will include…

    - Live! scheme information and performance sneak-peaks

    - Screen scheme information and film clip trailer reels

    - ‘How To’ interactive event planning

    - Support with Covid security and audience confidence

    - Creative audience development workshop

    - Free dinner and refreshments!

Both sessions are FREE, and travel expenses will be reimbursed. We are also offering all attendees complimentary tickets to some fantastic events afterwards – a live performance of ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ by Lost Dog Dance on Friday 20th May as part of Norfolk and Norwich Festival and a live satellite screening of National Theatre’s ‘Straight Line Crazy’ in Ely on Thursday 26th May.
