Leading the Way – Submit Your Creative Work!

From dancers to writers, illustrators to singers, if you’re a creative young person, we want to hear from you!

Send us your work to contribute to our Instagram event ‘Leading the Way’, all about being a young leader in the arts, taking place on Saturday 3rd October 2020. This event is for under 25s who have any interest in arts related activities and would like to share your own authentic experience and get your voice heard!

You could share a pre-existing piece of work with us or be inspired to create something new! You do not necessarily need to have a lot of experience in the arts or being a leader either – just an interest in the two is enough!

How to submit:

Step 1:

Complete the form and share images/videos of your work, and film yourself talking about your art and experiences of being an arts leader to lea@creativeartseast.co.uk (If you have a series of large files or a video file, please send it over to sophie@creativeartseast.co.uk via WeTransfer)

You can also send us content directly through Instagram if you like – follow @creativeartseast and send us a DM.

Deadline for submissions: 22nd September 2020

Step 2:

If you would like, post any of your artwork on your Instagram grid (as an image or using Instagram reel!) and tag us in it, also use our hashtag #BeingInTheArts  

Step 3:

Follow us on Instagram @CreativeArtsEast and keep your eyes peeled for the Takeover ‘Leading The Way’ on Saturday 3rd October!

Your submission could be a piece or artwork, a video, interview, song, poster design or anything you have created where you called the shots, stood up for what you believe in or where you set out to inspire and influence others.
