Young Promoters First Event in King’s Lynn

Hi everyone!

Every Friday, we’ve been meeting at the Guildhall, and it’s been super fun! We’ve started a group called Kings Lynn’s Move Shake Young Promoters, where we’ve been really busy planning something big. On the 21st of October, we’re putting on a special event at St George’s Guildhall, and we can’t wait to show you all the hard work we’ve been doing behind the scenes!

First, we had to pick which acts we wanted, and that took a lot of debating. We talked about what kind of event we wanted to put on, who might come to see it, and then we learned how to actually put it all together! It’s not as easy as it looks, but we’re so excited because we’ll be hosting a Brazilian singer-songwriter named Aleh Ferreira, he’s also known as Alehsoul. His music is so vibrant!, and we think everyone’s going to love it!

But that’s not all. We’ve been working on writing our own song, too! We decided to mix our favourite genres like rock and pop with Brazilian music, which was such a fun challenge. We’re hoping to perform our song on the night of the event, which would be amazing!

We’ve also been busy designing the posters, doing the marketing, and sorting out all the important details, like how everything will run smoothly. Plus, we’re trying to earn our Arts Awards while doing all of this!

It’s going to be an unforgettable night, and we really hope you can come and join us!
