Our Activities

Connecting communities with creativity

Our work creates opportunities for people to engage with creativity, wherever they live, so they can experience its benefits, whether they’re just getting started or looking to deepen their involvement.

We provide a range of activities that help people discover and explore arts and culture, build skills and confidence, and improve their wellbeing.

Our approach acts as a stepping stone, opening up new opportunities to explore their own creativity and connect with the wider cultural community.

Watch & Enjoy

We empower local communities to choose and host professional live performances and cinema events in village halls, schools, pubs, and libraries. Working with volunteers and other community representatives, we break down barriers to the arts, partnering with 60+ community groups across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. Each year, we support 30,000+ cultural interactions, offering everything from award-winning films to family puppet shows.

Learn & Feel Good

We design creative programmes for those who may have limited access to the arts, including:

  • Older people experiencing ill health or loneliness – delivering dementia-friendly workshops and social arts events.
  • Young people (early years to 25 years old) – delivering engaging arts experiences that boost confidence, creativity, and life skills.

Develop & Grow

We support the arts sector and creative workforce by:

  • Providing training, networking, and support for 300+ volunteer promoters.
  • Leading cultural development initiatives like PEACH West Norfolk and Rekindle Libraries.
  • Supporting emerging and established creatives through employment and training, and as part of a number of strategic groups including the Norfolk Arts Forum and National Rural Touring Forum.
