On-line Directory
This directory lists a variety of performances suitable and available for booking. These range from theatre to stand up comedians, music groups to puppet shows as well as street performance acts suitable for outdoor performances.
Acts are of high quality and wide appeal and are experienced in performing in rural and urban community settings. Costs of these acts range from approx £400 through to £650. Street performers will charge according to duration and frequency of performance required, usually ranging from £200 - £800 per appearance.
Additional requirements such as space requirements, technical facilities, setting up (get in) time, need for overnight accommodation, travel, provision of effective publicity material and images for press and promotional work are included in the tech spec in the Directory.
Home Grown members may be eligible to apply for grant aid to assist in covering any costs for Performers fees (see details in resource section).
Members of the New Promoters Scheme will benefit from the guarantee against loss scheme set up by Creative Arts East. This will assist in reducing the risk for first time promoters.
